  1. Funny Story.
    One night there was an "auld" woman living by herself near a graveyard in Grange she kept a nice black cat which was her only pet. Sometimes this "auld" cat of her would go away and wouldn't be seen again for a long time, although people used to think he always stayed in the church yard.
    One night anyway this "auld" woman was going home from a "wake" and 'twas in the dead 'o the night, and begob, when she was passin by the church style wasn't there a big black cat as big as a calf, an two eyes as big as " tay-cups"
    "When you go home tonight" says the big cat
