Around this area there are three ancient graveyards, Newabbey, Castlemartin and Old Kilcullen. New Abbey is still in use. In it there is the ruins of an old monastery which was built by the Fitz-Eaustaces.
Castle Martin was used about a hundred years ago. Old Kilcullen is seldom used now but people are still being buried there. It the middle of it stands the famous tower.
