  1. St, Brigid is the patron saint of this parish. She was born in Faughart near Dundalk. When she became a nun she came to Kildare where she spent the remainder of her life helping the poor.
    The Church in Kilcullen is called St Brigid's Church. Near the Church is a well also called after Saint. She is said to have drank out it and it cures colds.
    Every year on the 1st February her feast day is kept. The
