    Potatoes are never sprayed in this area as the ground does not contain any disease. They are dug in late June and early July and are then out in a pit.
    Medium sized potatoes are said to be the best for eating.

  2. I have often heard people saying:- "That lad is surely a son of his father." It is said when a lad acts the same as his father. People often say "Don't hurry, the day is long" but there is an answer:- " As long as the day is the night comes."
