  1. There is a proverb which is frequently used in this area. "Never look a gift horse in the mouth". This is said of a farmer who got a horse as a gift from another farmer when he was dying. The man was not pleased with his gift. He complained of it been no good, too thin, and two old. He opened the animal's mouth to see what age it was, when the horse dropped dead.
