a very common name there. From Knocaulinn in Old Kilcullen a person can see seven counties. Finn Mac Cumhuall threw a large stone from The Hill of Allen to Knockaulinn and it is still there.

In the bank of the Liffey, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare there is a holy well. It is called St. Brigid's. On the hill of Knockaulin, Old Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, the is a small well named Saint John's. It's water is a great cure for any skin desease.
