  1. It was said in olden times Leipreacans lived in Knockaulinn.
    One day a woman caught one and asked him for the "pot of gold" The woman stuck a spindle in the ground where he showed her and when she came back the hill was covered with spindles.
    Once a man named Burke was going the Harristown road a great number of Leipreacans caught him and did not let him go for a forth night.
