    The yeomen had guns which only held one round of amunition at a time. The Irish had only pikes. They (Irish) hid themselves behind the churchyard wall, and put their caps on sticks. There enimies fired on the caps. When the Irish saw their guns (English) empty rushed on them and cut them to pieces.
