  1. In Kilcullen there are two tailors who make suits of clothes. There is also a woman who has a machine for making thread she knits stockings with the thread and then sells them in the country houses at reasonable prices. Stockings are made in the homes by the idle girls. They also knit pullovers. Boys trousers are also made by the women.
    There is no one in this district has spinning wheels or remembers them. Shirts are not made
