  1. Around Kilcullen there is a good deal of potatoes grown. My father grows potatoes every year but he only sprays them when he sees the blight appearing. Very few other people around spray them. My father has about one acre under potatoes. The potatoes he sets are kers pinks, epacures, pilots and champions. Other people have larger quantities of potatoes sown. The usual prices of potatoes are from two shillings and sixpence to sixpence. Seed potatoes are usually eight
