If new potatoes are dug before the twenty ninth of June they are supposed to be bigger than the ones that are dug after that date.
When people leave a house and go to a new one if they bring their cat with them they will have bad luck. If the cat goes herself they will have good luck.
When people see magpies they have different sains the usual ones are one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a wedding and four for a death.
