- There is a graveyard in Giltown. My father remembers people to be buiried in it. There are trees growind in it and there is paling all round it. There are iron crosses over the graves.

- There are many wells with cures attached to them. St. Brigids well is about a hundred yards from the school. If you take a drink out of this well it will cure a cold.
