  1. Long ago people used all home-made bread. The Farmers long ago lived on wheaten bread and stirabout. Things were very cheap long ago.
    Nearly everybody used potatoes twice a day at dinner-time and supper-time. Farmers made their own butter and bread. They also had their own vegetables.
