  1. St. Brigid is one of the saint of Ireland. She spent most of her life helping the poor. She got a drink out of a well near Kilcullen. It was afterwards called Saint Brigids well. She was bourn near Dundork. It is said locally if you take a drink out of the well it will cure a cold.
