  1. Immediately the person dies you take the heavy clothing off them leaving just a light covering. The window is then opened and if there is a fire in the room it is quenched. It is believed that the judgement of the soul takes place immediately the body gets cold and that is why we should try to make the room cold as soon as possible.
    The clock is stopped and nothing that would cause any noise left in the room, it is supposed to disturb the soul that is being judged.
