  1. There are 28 horses at home. In the einter they are taken in for the hunting season and in the summer they are let out on grass. They are fed on oats twice a day, and a mash at night. They also get three "nets" of hay and three buckets of water in a day in the winter. There are 32 stables with lights all through them. They are bedded with wheaten straw and salt sprinkled over it to keep them from eating the straw. There is one mare and her name is Gowran Grange lass, she has a foal every elevn months
