  1. There is a great many people who have superstitions about the days of the week. They said that some days are lucky and other days unlucky. People say that Monday is an unlucky day to kill a pig. it is said that the meat would not last long. Monday is an unlucky day to do shopping because the shopkeeper will not let you out without giving you what you want because if he did he would not sell anything for the rest of the week. Wednesday is said to be the luckiest day of all the week. Thursday is said to be the most unlucky day of the week because long ago the people said that there was an unlucky Thursday
