  1. There is an old castle in Tullycommon and it was raided by Hugh O'Donnell and his army in the year 1599. There is also and old castle in Lemnagh and the owner of it was Maire Rugh. She was a very wicked woman and used to hang and kill a great many people. There is also a castle in Fahy.
