There is an old story connected with this old-saying. One day a farmer went to a wise man to get advice and the wise man gave him this old saying. When the man went home he was going to put his hay in-to his barns, but his servants wanted him to leave it till the next day and the farmer took out the advice the wise man gave him and he told his servants to put in the hay and there was great rain and all the other people's hay was camed away so that teaches us to "never put(continues on next page)- Collector
