  1. The patron Saint of this parish is Saint Crónan. the parish of Carron was called the parish of "Temple Crónan". There is a big cliff over the Well and it was called "Saint Cronáns bed". It is said that Saint Crónan slept there when he was in the church.
    There is a big Cross outside the church and it is around this cross people make the rounds. Outside this church there is a small graveyard. And it is said that Saint Crónan is buried there.
    At the four corners of the church the stone is carved like the shape of a stone.
