  1. Long ago the people had no industries and they had to make their own candles and soap and baskets.
    Candles
    When the people had to make candles, they got goats tallow and melted it. Then they put it into a mould and got a wick and put it through the centre, then they stuck the mould in a turnip, and poured in the tallow, when it was hard they would take it out, then they had their own candles ready for use
    There were other candles called the "paidéog". They used stick a piece of linen in the tallow and leave it
