  2. There are many superstitions about the days in the week. It is said that Friday is lucky to go ploughing. Monday is lucky to kill pigs. Thursday is the unluckiest day of all. And Wednesday is the luckiest day. Monday is an unlucky day to go on a journey. Tuesday is a lucky day to perform a cure.
