  1. There was once a priest whips lived in Carron. One Sunday as he was going to Noughvill to say mass, he met a very old man in the roadside crying. The priests asked him why he was crying, and he said his grand-fathers pipe. The priest would not believe him, and he got off his horse, and went into the little house. The father was standing in the middle of the floor shouting and the father fixing his pipe.
