  1. There are not many blessed wells around my parish. There is one in poul-a-carron in Michal Macks place and it is said that there was once an alter where the well is now. People go to that well for a cure for sore eyes, and they make rounds every Monday and Thursday of every week for three weeks.
    It is said that the water from that well would not boil.
    There is another blessed well in Tarmon and people go there to cure sore eyes. There is another well in Cóscéim and it is said that one time a woman brought
