    The doors were made of rods and a bag of hay or straw packed out in a hole in the wall for windows .The floors made of mud and a big flag by the side of the fire.They could rise up the flag when ever they would have earned money they would put it in under it.The hens in a place called a roost over the kitchen door they had only blocks of sticks for chairs.Most of the old people used have their beds in the house.
