    How they made butter long ago
    I was a very rare thing to see a churn long ago,and all the people wanted was a good big bottle.This they would shake over and hither ,until it would be made.
    It used to be hard work to get the butter out and sometimes a bottle had to be broken. Other people had a churn shaped like a box, which they would put the cream into.Then they would get a strange stick, with a piece of a board, nailed to the top of it
