    May day
The reason the people stick quick beam in the gardens to keep anyone from over looking it.No one should cross ditches on may day as they say it is not right .No one sows potatoes on May day because the say the wouldent grow nor the wouldent anything give away anything on the day.
Nor they do not stir potatoes seeds .Every one keeps some of the Easter water for to shake on all the crops and cattle and many other things to keep any misfortune away from them .People do no work but making ditches.
