    Folklore 2-5 38
    Long ago the kind of clothes people they used make themselves .They used sow seeds called flaxes. When it would grow the people would cut it off like oats and they would put it down steeping in a pond of water.
    When the grains would be soft the people would hit it on a hard stone and put a cloth under it in order that it would not be scattered around.Then they would make it fine .
    When it would be fine the women get Linning wheelsand make clothes of it.
