First they used make a rough piece of tin. Then they used get a few clean potatoes and scrape them up very small Then they used squeeze them and mix them up and then washed them.
Then they are put down on the pan .it was the usual meal long ago with water. it was counted a great rarity .And bread and water was counted another rarity.
