To meet two magpies is lucky and to meet one is unlucky.A sop of straw tied out of a hen is a sign of a death. If a funeral was scattered it is the sign of another out of the same place.
If you were going on a journey and meet a red haired woman it is said you would have no luck for the day.The cat to turn his tail to the fire is the sign of bad weather. To dream of a white horse is lucky. To hear the beanside crying is a sign that some one around the place would die.
