    Eviction.
    Long ago when the people used to pay their rents or their rates the sheriff would come and throw out all that was in the house ,tables ,chairs ,presses,pots ,pans ,tincans ,buckets ,and beds and throw out the people also and lock the door

    Long ago men used wear breeches and tied below the knee with four or five buttons. They had coats called a cut a way frieze coat or a swallow tail coat ,a caroline hat and a walking cane.The woman had tweed shawls ,a flannel skirt and a red handkerchief fold three corners way on their heads ,check aprons .The most of the women used put hoops in at the top of the skirt to make it like a flair and soft shoes.
