The old school 9..12..37
Long ago the people had no school only all the children gather in one house for a week or two and then to another for the next week.
Who ever was the best at his lessons was put over them as a teacher .There was one beyond in Jaws in James Brodericks place and there was a man named Malone teaching there. The masters were very cross and slapped them.They went summer and winter to school without shoes.The master wore shoes made of soft(continues on next page)
