    Long ago people lived in small mud houses about twelve feet in length .Some of them used be white-washed and as they had no brushes to put on to wash they used put it on with a rag.
    They used be heather or hay mixed through the mud to keep it firm.There used be a small window about a foot high and ten inches wide but they had no glass in them only only a stick or sop of hay in them.A bundle of rods tied with a
