  1. Michael Mc Allen who lived in Gortoveha owned the Blessed well and he is dead now.At first he usent to take any money but after a time he put rails around it and began to charge money for every round you would give.
    it is said that it would cure sore eyes if you went a six o clock in the morning and wash them with it .They used to sleep in it to be cure of any sore they would have The name of it was Tobar Geála .Annie Kennedy's eye was cured in it.
