  1. One night the parish priest of Cooleenbridge went on a sick call to Scariff. He got his horse and went off, but when he was passing a bridge he was stopped. He turned back and went in the Connor's and asked him to go with him, Connor's said he would although he was afraid to be out in the night.
    So he got up and went with him until he passed the bridge where he was stopped, and then began to run back home, He was not long in side when the priest came back again, So he got up and put him apart where he was stopped again. Then he began
