    Long ago three Mac Mahons, Peter ,Paddy and John and James Cummins walked to a fair in Rathkeale.They bought cattle and walked them home again that same evening.
    A good walker.
    There lived a man in Derryfadda named Woods .Every year he used to go over to England for the harvest.he would leave his own home early in the morning and go towards the rising sun for it was said that Dublin was straight in the direction where the sun was rising.
