    them and again around the cows' necks. Often they used loosen in the cabins, with a post tied around their necks. It was a custom long ago when a cow would calf to put a cut on his ear so that he would get no disease.
    Long ago the cows and cattle used go mad. When they would be lying down or standing up a fit would come on them and they would leaping and tearing around the field, and often had to be killed.
