There are many Irish customs carried on during may Eve.It was a custom to stick a branch from a mountain ash in the garden and shake holy-water in the four corners of the garden to keep away the "pishogs".Holt water is shook on every animal .The pishog women turn into the form of hares and milk cows(continues on next page)- Collector
