    Olden Food
    28th April,1938.
    The cheif food of the Irish people long ago was the potato.The people used to eat milk ,salt and potatoe's.Boxty was always eaten which was potatoes grated up and boiled .In some places tea was was hardly known and the bigest supply bought was two ounces.
