    7th March, 1938
    A man named Captain Moloney was landlord in the estate of Kiltannon. He had an agent named Mr. Weldon. This agent was not liked by the people. One evening as he was passing the road near Milltown he was attacked by a crowd of men. One man carried a gun and fired at him. He was badly wounded and was in hospital for a long time. The police travelled to every house
