    21 February 1937
    The Famine was in the years eighteen forthy six and eighteen forthy seven. The people died with the hunger the chief food they had was the potatoes and they blackened. The people died on the side with of the road with the hungar. Some of them were buried in Vaughans coill in Ardboula. Their graves are to be seen
