    The Leprechaun.
    23rd.of May ,1938.
    Once upon a time there was a woman going to town with a basket of eggs tied to her back,and a shawl about them.On the way she met a Leprechaun,and she said that she had no money,and she asked him for some, and he said that he had none either only that he was earning it. She said that she would catch him and bring him home with her if he did not give it to her. So she put him up on her back under the shawl
