    17th September .1937
    Colmcille's mother was Eithne daughter of a Leinster chief of famous lineage.Before his birth Eithne had a strange dream.She saw an angel of s God who carried a splended cloak in his hands. On that cloak were all the colours of the world,and the fragrants of every fruit and sweet smelling.
