    18th.January,1938.
    An old lady lived in the side of the road where Pat Hogans now stands,whose name was Eibhlís .Mrs Powells fathers dog came one day and ate some of her eggs but she said nothin-g. He came the second time and ate some more of the eggs,and she went to the man and said Déanfaidh mise Summanre ort féin agus do mhadra cómsuidhe tú ansan .Some years after she was burned to death.
