  1. A famous runner. 4-11-'37
There was once a man not far from here who was supposed to be the best runner in the townland where he was. He used to win prizes at sports fr running and jumping. One day he was running at sports and the next day he got a pain in his leg. The people said that he was over looked. He was attended by a priest and Docter. He never jumped from now on then.
