    Weather Lore.
    Signs of Weather.
If a dark cloud were in the sky it is the sign of a shower and when it is gone the rainbow would appear and people say that if you turn a stone that the next day would be fine. If the smoke of the chimney is going straight up towards the sky it is a good sign.
If the cat is always sitting with his back to the fire it is a bad sign.
