    Local Marriges.
    A lot of marriages take place in this district on Shrove Tuesday. They say that Friday is an unlcuky day for a marriage and it is said Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday are very lucky days. It was the custom in the olden times for parents to make maches for their dighter and the girl would never see her
