  1. About thirty three years ago in the month of February, a great storm arose in the night and it carried the roof of a cowhouse the property of Pat Kirby of Derrindaffe. The sheets of iron did great damage, the first damage it did was to break a window in the school of Derrindaffe. Some of the tin was taken as far as Lacca and more of it was blown three or four fields away and the tin was so battered that no use
