  1. Fairy Forts
    There is a fairy Fort in Dysart and one in Clonshee. The fort in Clonshee is surrounded by bushes There is a fort in Crecher and also one in Turpane.
    There is a fort in Muchlon. It is shaped like a can it is wide round the top and flat at the bottom. It is said that people passing that fort late at night saw fairies playing on it.
    The forts were built on great heights and the Danes had a good view from one fort to another. These fots were used also for signal [mostly erased - illegible] and stones with
