  1. Buying and Selling.
    Long ago shops were not plentiful, money was very scarce and people used to exchange goods. There were markets held at crossroads. Buying and selling was carried on after Mass. Markets are held in towns nowadays. There are young bonham, young calves, potatoes, butter, milk, and corn sold at markets. There are teas, sugar, bocan, loaves, and other things sold at shops.
    People call a shilling a "bob" and a sixpence a "tanner." Some of the coins that
